Asheboro and Randolph Country enjoy a rich theatre tradition. Programs sponsored by the City, our community theatre, the regular Friday night Bluegrass performances and special events provide educational and entertainment opportunities for people young and old alike.
With the transformation of Sunset Theatre into a first–rate performing arts center, the performing arts in Asheboro and Randolph County finally will have a real home downtown. Residents and visitors will have a new destination. And the fond memories of the Theatre held by its patrons will make way for new memories of future generations.
